Daintree, Cape Trib & Mossman Gorge

The Daintree, Cape Trib & Mossman Gorge tour covers the key locations in Far North Queensland’s rainforest region. Itinerary

Cairns to Port Douglas via Rex Lookout
The day begins with a drive along the Great Barrier Reef Drive, with a photo stop at Rex Lookout overlooking the Coral Sea. The tour continues to Port Douglas, where additional passengers join, followed by a visit to Flagstaff Hill and views over Four Mile Beach.

Mossman Gorge
Guests enjoy morning tea before taking a guided walk through Mossman Gorge. The area features rainforest paths and a flowing river with large granite boulders. There is an opportunity for a swim in the clear freshwater.

Lunch
Lunch is served at a local restaurant, with a selection of meals available.

Daintree River Cruise
Board a one-hour boat cruise along the Daintree River to look for crocodiles and other wildlife.

Daintree Rainforest and Alexandra Lookout
Cross the river by cable ferry and drive into the Daintree Rainforest. Stop at Alexandra Lookout for panoramic views of the coastline and rainforest.

Guided Rainforest Walk and Cape Tribulation
Take a guided botanical walk under ancient trees before arriving at Cape Tribulation. Walk to Kulki Lookout to see where the rainforest meets the reef.

Daintree Ice Cream Company (Optional Stop)
On the return trip, there’s an optional stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company, where guests can buy tropical fruit ice cream.
