Tropical Journeys’ Aquarius is just that and is recognised as one of the most modern and luxurious sail vessels to operate out of Port Douglas.

Catering to small groups, Aquarius is a dedicated snorkel only vessel, offering a personalised experience to a stunning location on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

Relax on the spacious upper deck between snorkelling opportunities and devour the delicious buffet lunch as well as freshly made cakes for morning and afternoon tea.

Aquarius' crew provide a comprehensive safety brief at the start of each day, supervision and tuition while in the water. A coral viewing boat is available for non-swimmers. Flotation devices are provided for snorkelling from the platform of Aquarius.

COST: $241.50 per adult (includes $6.50 Environmental Management Charge)

Leaving from the Reef Marina, Port Douglas.

Boarding commences at 8.20am, departs 8.45 am and returns 4.00 pm 
Aquarius is not suitable for children under the age of 8 years.

Aquarius Twilight Sailing

It could be described as one of the most romantic sailing experiences ever for honeymooners and couples, but there is no doubt Aquarius’ twilight sail is also popular among other travellers as well.

It is not every day you have the opportunity to sip champagne and nibble on canapés while watching the sun set over the mountains of the Daintree Rainforest.

Let the highly experienced team take care of your every need as you sail effortlessly through the Dickson Inlet of Port Douglas and out over the Coral Sea.

Inclusions:

• Aquarius' twilight sail operates for 90 minutes
• Delicious light canapes are served to you by our crew
• Aquarius is a BYO vessel so please feel free to bring your favourite bottle of wine or beer. Ice, refrigeration and glasses are provided on board

Sailing Charters on Aquarius

The luxurious 'Aquarius' is available for charter for a day of sailing to the outer Great Barrier Reef. A spacious, comfortable and stable catamaran, Aquarius is a vessel to relax on and enjoy the journey to Horseshoe Bay. Lie on the daybeds under the sails while travelling then immerse yourself amongst the coral and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef. Aquarius is available for charter for twilight sailing in the evenings. One and a half hours on the water watching the sun set behind the mountains of the Daintree is the perfect way to end a day in paradise. Twilight sailing is very popular for birthdays, special occasions or just for a sail.

Sailing Charters on Escape
