Travel to the Famous Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation in small group comfort. Our Specially designed vehicles carry a small amount passengers - offering unrivalled personalised service.

Our tour starts by heading north along the Captain Cook Highway passing through our most Northern beach suburb of Palm Cove to learn the rich history of Double and Haycock Islands and be amazed at the huge melaleuca tree's which are hundreds of years old.

From here we will continue our journey north along one of the nicest coastal drives in the Australia. 28 kilometres of the drive is incorporated within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, stopping along the way at the Rex lookout for views over the World Heritage Area of Wangetti Beach and back towards the mountains of the Great Dividing Range.

We then travel to the small seaside village of Port Douglas and enjoy a short town tour. Our tour includes a visit to the famous Flagstaff Hill Looking over the famous Four Mile beach for a photo and St Mary’s by The Sea to learn the rich history of this historical church.

Our next stop is Mossman Gorge, the southern edge of the Daintree World Heritage area. Here we will enjoy morning tea in the New Mossman Gorge Centre, which includes Tea/Coffee/Cold Drink and damper, accompanied with fresh whipped cream, jam and bush honey.

We will then jump on board a shuttle bus accompanied by your Naturalist or Eco/World Heritage accredited guide and head up to the national park for a guided walk in dense tropical rainforest for views over the huge granite boulders and crystal clear waters of the Mossman river, or why don't you have a refreshing swim if the weather and time permits.

Heading further north and passing the sugar cane fields of North Queensland, we stop for a delicious lunch in a setting unlike any other. After lunch, we’ll join our small and personalised tour on the Daintree River and if you are lucky enough, you may even spot the elusive crocodile.

Continuing north, we begin the slow and picturesque road toward Cape Tribulation. Along the way you’ll see even more wonders of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park. A stop at the Alexandra Lookout reflects back over the coastal road south (just travelled) and breathtaking views over the Daintree River mouth, Snapper Island and Low Isles (off shore from Port Douglas).

We then continue to Cape Tribulation itself (where two World Heritage areas meet – the Rainforest of the Daintree National Park and the Great Barrier Reef). Here, you’ll have the opportunity to take a nice casual stroll on the beach where your guide with teach you the rich history of Captain Cook and take you on a guided walk up to ‘Kulki’ lookout overlooking Mt Disappointment and Mt sorrow.

Leaving Cape Tribulation Beach you will stop at Marrdja boardwalk, one of the most bio-diverse areas in the area. After this amazing stop, we then venture south back toward The Daintree River, stopping along the way at the Daintree Ice Cream Factory for afternoon tea. Here you will have the opportunity to sample locally made ice cream featuring seasonal fruits of the Tropics (own expense)
Shortly after, we arrive at the Daintree River and board the cable ferry to cross this stunning river.

Our journey home gives you time to relax and reflect on your day before we drop you back at your accommodation for a good night’s sleep!

We took a full day trip that included a beautiful lunch in the Daintree rain forest with local fruits that you can only get in Cairns. It included an eco friendly cruise up the Daintree River to see crocodiles. It was simply lovely and we had a croc swim along side us for a short while. We stopped at Port Douglas, where the Daintree meets the Great barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge and a few other bays, all including short walks and toilet facilities. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

0 Amazing!!

We went on the tour today Mick was our guide. Absolutely amazing. Mick has so much knowledge about the local area. We didn't book a private tour but that is what we got. Mick even stopped at a local fruit and vegetable stand for us. If I could give this tour a 10 I would.

0 Daintree Rainforest Tour - Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation

This tour was absolutely amazing! Jean, our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, and would look for opportunities to make our experience a memorable one. We saw wallabies, crocodiles, and 5 CASSOWARIES!!! It was so special to see so much wildlife on this tour. Jean educated us a lot on all kinds of details about the rainforest, which helps me gain a newfound respect for getting to experience the oldest living rainforest on the planet. The tour was great because we did a little of everything - stopped at Palm Cove Beach, had a nice coastal drive, went to many many scenic lookouts, Mossman Gorge, and AMAZING lunch, a river cruise where we saw crocodiles, Cape Tribulation, and finally a stop for ice cream. Amazing and well organized tour!
