About Daintree EcoLodge & Spa
A very warm welcome to the Daintree EcoLodge & Spa
We encourage you to release your senses to the rich tropical Daintree:
+ drift into another realm through our relaxing natural spa treatments
+ take a culinary adventure through our vibrant local cuisine
+ quietly observe a thousand shades of green growing before your eyes
In our midst, we invite you to relish romance, to respect ancient culture, and celebrate each day luxuriating restfully nestled within this ancestral place of healing of the spirit.
The Daintree EcoLodge & Spa offers a variety of accommodation choices with welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. Relax in one of our 'bayans', a private tree house designed for two. Naturally, we ensure your needs and desires are well taken of, with all rooms featuring air conditioning, mini bar, robes, slippers and luxurious products. A micro screened balcony offers stunning, immersive views of the rainforest.
Perched over the property's waterlily filled lagoon is Julaymba Restaurant & Bar, a magical destination for unwinding in the ambience of a rainforest and lagoon setting. A daily menu draws inspiration from the tropical surrounds showcasing fine contemporary Australian cuisine prepared from fresh, local ingredients while the Bar selection is carefully curated to perfectly complement a truly unique dining experience. Our revered Daintree Spa is a sanctuary for disconnecting from the world. With a focus on the harmony between nature, nurture and culture, our therapists infuse ancient aboriginal wisdom and healing in a luxuriant menu of spa experiences using the renown Li'tya pure Australian botanicals range.
While you may choose not to leave our rainforest escape, it is also the perfect base from which to explore the wonders of tropical Far North Queensland. This sunkissed corner of Australia lures travellers from all corners of the globe, boasting the only opportunity to encounter adjacent World Heritage sites. Ancient rainforest and the magnificent Daintree River meet untouched coastal ranges and the calm, azure waters of the Coral Sea, home to the Great Barrier Reef.
