Welcome
Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa is nestled between the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef at Cape Tribulation - a true paradise and one of the world's most remarkable environments.
Both the Daintree and the Great Barrier Reef are World Heritage-listed sites. Thriving with native fauna, the ancient forests of the Daintree are also home to 85 of the world's 120 rarest species of plants - a living museum that has barely changed in thousands of years.
The Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral formation, comprising nearly 3,000 reefs, with 400 different kinds of coral. Its waters teem with spectacular marine life. Scuba diving, snorkelling, 4WD trips, horse riding, rainforest walks and crocodile cruises are just some of the activities on offer. If you’re feeling adventurous, embark on a kayaking tour from Cape Tribulation beach, or for the not-so-adventurous, languish by the pool or at the beach.
Also during your stay, visit the brand new day spa 'Ocean Spa' perfectly located on the shores of Coconut Beach. Featuring 100% natural Australian products, treatments include clay wraps, body scrubs, stone therapy, traditional beauty and much more - all from one of the world’s most stunning and unique destinations.
Even though you have all these adventures on your doorstep, at Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa, you'll still be holidaying in style. Guests unwind in the most exquisite natural surroundings, without sacrificing any creature comforts. You'll find four-star accommodation amidst the wilderness, offering private rainforest views, with easy access to pristine Coconut Beach. At night, take the nocturnal rainforest walk to see some amazing wildlife out and about.
‘The Cape’ is the social hub of Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa, offering dining, light snacks, tropical cocktails and full bar facilities in a stunning beachside setting. Based on the design of an Indonesian Long House, ‘The Cape’ enjoys views over the pool to the sands of Coconut Beach. It is the perfect venue for a relaxed breakfast, a lazy lunch by the pool or a sunset cocktail before a tantalizing dinner. Menus take advantage of the freshest local produce including seafood and tropical fruits of the region.
