This october why not head to the wilds of far north queensland to discover the impact of climate change on this world heritage listed ecosystem and see how endemic animals of the area are adapting to a warming environment. You'll assist in research and gathering data that is tracking the impact of climate change on the unique flora and fauna of the region. Get hands on with different reptiles, frogs and birds as well as seeing dingoes, possums, butterflies, platypus and other protected species in their natural habitat. On this expedition, you’ll explore rainforests, spectacular mountains covered in cooler upland rainforests, beaches, and coral habitats just off the shore. You’ll investigate changes in the climate and what they mean for these species while trying your hand at a variety of research techniques, including bird surveys, lizard surveys, frog surveys, and nocturnal wildlife spotting.
