The treatments at the spa have evolved from nature to nurture the mind, body and spirit. The Spa’s signature treatments have been designed to harness the power of nature through the use of clays from the earth, flower and plant essences, herbal extracts and hands on therapy.

Experience the soothing sights and sounds of the rainforest at Silky Oaks Lodge & Healing Waters Spa, nestled on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park. Only 20 minutes from Port Douglas, Silky Oaks Lodge provides the perfect base for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation.
The Lodge blends casual and contemporary design, amongst tranquil surrounds with accommodation provided in 45 Deluxe Treehouses and Riverhouses with the addition of two Billabong Suites coming on line in April 2012.
Take a relaxing stroll along the lush riverbanks and enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mossman River. Explore the local area by bike - including the quaint township of Mossman. Paddle a canoe on the Mossman River, join a guided rainforest walk or relax with a rainforest inspired spa treatment.
After a day of adventure, enjoy dinner in the a Treehouse Restaurant, where walls and windows have been replaced by the surrounding rainforest. The Treehouse Restaurant takes full advantage of its extraordinary location, perched in the treetops high above the Mossman River, boasting rainforest and river views. The a la carte menu showcases the freshest local produce and Australian wines. The restaurant and bar are open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The Jungle Perch is ideal for that romantic, candle lit intimate dinner for two, or small weddings and incentives.
Rainforest Deluxe Treehouse Accommodation
Accommodation at Silky Oaks Lodge consists of a total of 45 stand alone Deluxe Treehouses and Riverhouses. Extensive landscaping ensures privacy and seclusion.
Each Treehouse has its own special vantage of the surrounding rainforest, or pristine Mossman Gorge, with Riverhouses overlooking the Mossman River.
To help guests leave the outside world behind, televisions are not found in our Treehouses. All feature king beds, robe and slippers, mini bar, bathroom with separate shower and spa bath, day bed, balcony with hammock and much more.

How to get to Silky Oaks Lodge
From Cairns or Cairns airport follow the Captain Cook Highway north travelling past Port Douglas and through the township of Mossman. Turn left at Syndicate Road and left at Finlayvale Road and you will find Silky Oaks lodge at the end of that road.
